The 2027 A2000® FPM23SS is a lightweight 34” catcher’s mitt designed to make catchers’ lives easier. Thinner pads along the pinky and thumb reduce the overall bulk of the glove, reducing fatigue and encouraging proper glove posture. The lighter weight also makes it easier to keep the thumb underneath the ball and snap the glove to a level position after receiving the pitch–a key skill for pitch-framing. Updates to the FPM23 are headlined by a switch to a Dual Post Web, which makes the mitt much easier to break in while maintaining the necessary durability for the game’s most demanding position. Our Drawstring Closure uses untied laces on the outside of the wrist, allowing you to easily adjust and tie-off for your preferred fit. A White SuperSkin™ outer shell further reduces the glove’s weight, while Blonde Pro Stock® leather offers premium performance and feel that only gets better with time. Blonde laces, Black binding, Sky Blue logos and Seafoam stitching give this mitt a subtle statement look.
