These X-Out bats started out as Pro grade maple billets. The finished product, even though it is structurally sound, did not meet the pro standard due to a minor detail such as a weight variance or a slight cosmetic blemish.
All this means is that you get a quality maple bat without all the bells and whistles - at a great bargain!
X-Outs are all natural with no finish and will be a random turn model. As a result they will have different knobs, barrels, handles and feels because they all come from different models.
